DAM To Support 1349 On U.K. Tour
June 27, 2007British extreme metal band DAM will support Norwegian black metallers 1349 on a U.K. tour in October. Confirmed dates so far are as follows:
Oct. 16 - Cathouse - Glasgow
Oct. 17 - Junktion 7 - Nottingham
Oct. 18 - Underworld - London
Oct. 19 - Corporation - Sheffield
DAM recently parted ways with guitarist Lal. "His contributions have played a crucial part in shaping the sound of DAM, and we are sorry to see him go," the group said in a statement. "We wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
Guitarist and brother-in-arms Dan "Ropeman" Knight of TED MAUL will handle live guitar duties for the forseeable future. DAM is currently seeking a full-time replacement.
DAM will support legendary Florida death metallers OBITUARY on July 5 at the Underworld in London. Also scheduled to appear is ONSLAUGHT.
The European release date for DAM's new album, "The Difference Engine", has been moved forward to September 17. A U.S. release has not yet been confirmed.
